There are solutions to the current housing affordability crisis in our country. At the state and local levels, efforts are underway to reevaluate and revise zoning and land-use regulations, promoting a greater variety of housing types such as Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and multi-unit homes. These efforts also involve working with developers to provide affordable homes for new workers, seniors, and people with disabilities.
